Thank you for your commitment to wear blue at the 2019 Rock'n'Roll San Antonio Marathon!  Together we will honor the service and sacrifice of the American military with each of our steps.

wear blue, in support of its mission to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military, creates the wear blue Mile at officially designated races.  The wear blue Mile is comprised of two parts – (1) the Faces of the Fallen posters and (2) American flags (each draped with a black ribbon, bearing the name of a fallen military member) held by volunteers.

Each one of our wear blue Mile posters and flags is sponsored through the generous donations of our community.  We are grateful for your support.

A donation of $50 covers the cost of an American Flag, Memorial Ribbon dedicated to a fallen military member, and a Faces of the Fallen poster, which features a poignant image of a fallen hero, as well as his or her name, age, and date of death. These posters serve as a meaningful reminder that our fallen heroes are not just casualty numbers.

On your donation submission, please reference that your donation is for a flag and poster on the wear blue Mile. Donate Here.

More information will be sent as race date approaches.

Because of your commitment, we ensure that each of America’s fallen military is honored and remembered, and that their families, friends and comrades can take meaningful, life affirming steps forward. Thank you for being an active part of the wear blue community.
