Upcoming Races

At races across the country, wear blue: run to remember creates a living memorial through the steps of our athletes and the support of our volunteers. Running in blue? Interested in volunteering? The Saturday Run

The cornerstone to achieving wear blue’s mission is the Saturday Run, a weekly no-cost run or walk hosted by wear blue volunteers. Each gathering begins with a Circle of Remembrance, honoring the service and sacrifice of the American military, and is followed by a self-paced run or walk through the community. It is a place of connection, support, and healthy living for athletes of all abilities. Find a Community near you.

Honor Events

Throughout the year, wear blue holds a number of dynamic global virtual and in-person events to honor our fallen and connect our communities in shared awareness.

  • Memorial Day

  • Piestewa Challenge

Gold Star Programs

Gold Star Race Program

wear blue serves to embolden Gold Star family members in their healing process through running. Our Gold Star Race Program recipients receive a personalized wear blue shirt, a pair of running shoes, one race entry, airfare to race, lodging, training, a certified running coach, and support throughout the training and race experience. The athlete’s fallen service member will be uniquely honored on the tribute wear blue Mile.

Gold Star Youth Mentorship Program

The Gold Star Youth Mentorship pairs children of fallen military with service connected mentors of our armed forces to build resilience, healthy coping habits, and a connection to a life of service. Children are empowered to navigate the complicated impacts of traumatic childhood grief, and reclaim their lost identities as military children, while mentors are able to complete their own cycles of healing.
