Traveling to the event

By signing up to take part in this event, you accept complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while you are traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while on the premises of the event.

Personal health and fitness

You understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and you should not enter and participate unless you are medically able and properly trained. We recommend that you consult your doctor prior to undertaking training.

Use of Images

By taking part in the 2022 Marine Corps Marathon, you grant full permission to wear blue, any third parties authorized by us to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event that may include your image.

Collection and use of information

Your personal information will only be used by us and any appointed third parties for purposes in connection with the event and any subsequent events that we may organize or administer.

Disclaimer

Participation in the event is entirely at your own risk and by entering the event, participants acknowledge that we shall not be liable for death, injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the event, save to the extent that it is caused by our negligence. I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.

I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.

I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise. If the winner accepts the guaranteed entry and is unable to run the 2022 Marine Corps Marathon, the winner will be responsible for a $100 donation. To show their solidarity to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military, winners are expected to wear an official wear blue shirt on race day.
